CAPOEIRA DANCERS:
This Afro-Brazilian Martial art is a captivating
fusion of self defence, dance and hypnotic rhythms.
The performance begins with the playing of
the berimbau (a special instrument which is used to create
the music for Capoeira) and/or live drumming/berimbau
to build atmosphere.
This is followed by an exciting display of
Capoeira, featuring acrobatic martial art
movements (to a traditional pre-recorded compilation of Capoeira
songs).
